So this is my latest little project. I got my inspiration from a mobile I saw in the Pottery Barn Kids store. They had a very pretty mobile hanging from the ceiling and it caught my eye.
I almost swallowed my tongue when I saw the price tag.
Recovery quickly, I surmised that I could make that mobile for so much less...and I did. However, if I were to make one for anyone else, I would be tempted to charge them an arm and possibly a small toe for my time and effort.
This little project was tedious, but so worth it!
I hope she likes it.

Believe me, this is beautiful. I saw it just before she completed it and it was so pretty then.
Completed makes it even more so.
Where do you get all your talent !:) I know ___(she) will love it.
Actually, I think your's is prettier than the one at Pottery Barn! Are the butterflies made of cardstock? Just beautiful!!
Yes they are made of card stock. I wanted to originally make them out of a stiff fabric material, but my "puncher" just couldn't handle it.
So gorgeous, Jodi! I am so impressed with people who have the patience for this sort of thing!!! :-) You need to post pictures of your nursery...it must be amazing!!!
