I recently realized I had never posted about our trip to Wichita.
Egad!
These pictures were taken the end of January.
Below, are a few pictures of Daddy and Norah Jayne hangin' out together the night before we left.
She is very much a "daddy's girl" - except when she is with me and then she is Allllll mine!
Mr. M. looked at me quite seriously the other day and asked, "Are you a little jealous that she loves me more than you?"
I THINK he was joking... Men are sooo delusional sometimes.
This was Norah's first trip to see Nana and Papa Freeman. It was a LOOOONG trip too.
She did great. Pretty much just ate and slept and pooped.
What more could you hope for (besides a little temporary constipation)?
Sweet little Ellie rode along side Norah Jayne.
I am sure they bonded, and had hours of stimulating conversation about current events.
Norah's first night at Nana and Papa's house. She slept like a... baby.
Another great adventure we had was driving to Beloit to meet Great Grammy and Grandpa Freeman! This was the first time they got to meet Norah and Ellie. It was great to see them both.
Group picture!
(Don't ask me why I am trying to look like a bow-legged cowpoke in this picture,
because I have no idea...
I should be medicated.)
Grammy and Norah Jayne - in thoughtful repose.
Just some snaps from our time in Wichita.
Norah, in her bouncy seat by a sunny window.
Ellie, on the sofa looking adorable.
It's all fun and games until someone...
...has gas.
Nana Freeman and all her grands...
I love this picture of my mom- she is so beeeauuutiful!
Papa and Norah having some quality time.
And you know that I have dozens more pictures... but I think this is a good assortment.
I had to end with this one.
It was taken once we got back home.
I think Norah misses ALL the activity and excitement that goes with having her little cousins around so she has resorted to talking to herself in the mirror.
Who was it that said, "Well, if you can't enjoy your own company, you're not fit company for anyone else"?
THE END

Wow! I'm not a laugh out loud kind of person when I read stuff but I guffawed loudly when I saw the gas comment. Truly priceless!!
